Problem
Art muesums can be confusing, intimidating, and considered boring for first time users.
Goal
To make the process of purchasing a ticket easy for new users, so that they feel confident and excited to visit Luminous Art Gallery.
User Research
I conducted interviews with targeted users to better understand the issues with purchasing tickets to an art gallery. I turned the interview into empathy maps to get a clear idea of our users pain points. I discovered that users got overwhelmed fairly easy with art gallery or museums ticketing systems. Users, were intimidated to purchase a ticket because they were unsure what they purchasing.
Landon is busy photographer living in the city and needs an easier method to review, select, and purchase tickets because he wants a fast and stress free, non-confusing ticketing checkout process.
"Purschasing tickets can be can be confusing and overwhelming."
I created a user journey map of Landon’s experience purchasing art gallery tickets. I was able to identify possible pain points and improvement opportunities.
Starting the Design
I started to iterate on the designs of the homescreen, a process I did for all screens to ensure I use the best features for the art gallery.

Refining the Design
Based on the usability conducting, I made changes to improve the ticketing service system. Users wanted to explore other ticketing options at the same time. I created other screens so that users can examine all ticketing options available at once by connecting buttons.
Different screen variations were created.
